Day 1: LIMA
Arrive in Lima and catch your private transfer to your selected hotel.
No meals included.
Day 2: LIMA
A private transfer will take you to Lima center.
Take a guided tour of Lima to get a fly-on-the-wall insight into Peru's modern capital city. You'll visit Lima's main plazas, the Presidential Palace and spook yourself in the catacombs of San Francisco Church.
Drop in on the Park of Love in Miraflores to eyeball the Pacific Ocean.

Day 3: LIMA - CUZCO - SACRED VALLEY
Welcome to Cuzco! A private transfer will take you to the Sacred Valley.
You will take a private guided tour to the Sacred Valley to learn about the Incan civilization. We will visit Awanacancha, where we will see Andean camelids such as llamas and alpacas. We continue our tour visiting the Pisaq Archaeological Park from where we will get stunning views of the surrounding valley. We then stop at the colorful Pisaq Market to admire the locally made handicrafts. Finally, we will visit Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park. A delicious buffet lunch is included this day.

Day 4: SACRED VALLEY
On this day we will visit Moray, the oldest known horticultural experimental center in the world. Each terraced level has a different micro-climate in which different crops can be grown. Then, Maras, 4 km from Moray, is the site of pre-Inca salineras (salt ponds). The Maras salineras are still active today and maintained cooperatively by the community.

Day 5: SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU - CUZCO
Today, you will take the First Class train to Machu Picchu.
Take a guided tour of Machu Picchu known as the Lost City of the Incas. You'll see ritual baths, the Palace of the Princess, the Intihuatana and the Temple of the Sun.
In the afternoon, you will take your train back to the city of Cuzco where a private transfer will take you to your selected hotel.

Day 6: CUZCO
A private transfer will take you to Cuzco for a city tour. You'll see the main plaza with its imposing Colonial Cathedral, as well as beautiful churches and buildings.
You will visit the Santo Domingo Convent, where the Qoricancha temple originally stood. Finally, you'll head to the outskirts of town to see the ancient historical sites of Sacsayhuaman, Quenco, Tambomachay and Puca Pucará.
After the tour, a private transfer will take you to your selected hotel.

Day 7 : CUZCO - PUNO
On this day, you will take the Andean Explorer luxury train. You will tour the archaeological park of Raqchi in Cusco, an ancient complex dating to the Incan period (1450-1532) with a gigantic wall that protects the park, aqueducts, underground tombs and pre-inca enclosures. Later, on your way to Puno, you will visit La Raya at 4,000 feet to snap impressive photos of panoramic views.
On board, you will enjoy a variety of pre-dinner cocktails. After dinner, you will overnight in Puno at the Lake Titicaca Station.

Day 8: PUNO - LIMA
Wake up early to reach Lake Titicaca for sunrise. You will enjoy breakfast on board then take the tour the largest lake in South America and the highest navigable lake in the world!
We will stop for a visit at Uros Floating Islands and meet some members of this traditional community. Later, we will visit Taquile Island to learn more about local customs, while enjoying a homemade lunch prepared by the community members.

Day 9: LIMA
Day at leisure in Lima. Later, a private transfer will take you to the airport to catch your flight back home.
