Day by day itinerary :

Day 1(Arequipa)/Andes :
- Arrival and welcome at the airport and transfer to your selected the hotel.
- City tour of Arequipa, the second biggest city in Peru, known as the “White City” because it is built out of sillar, a kind of white volcanic stone. See the most beautiful Plaza de Armas in the country, the mangnificent Cathedral and the shopping malls in colonial style. Continue to the suburbs of Cayma and Yanahuara to enjoy a view of the majestic volcanos Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu. Following, visit to the Monastery of Santa Catalina built as a city in the city in 1580 and opened to the public after 400 years of being totally cut off the outer world.

Day 2 (Arequipa):
- Early departure from the hotel for a full day excursion to the Colca Canyon, known as the deepest in the world. After a four- hour trip with quick looks to several villages, scenic landscape and typical fauna: llamas, alpacas, vicunas, etc. arrival to the valley of Chivay. This is the beloved resting-place to many tourists going to the Colca Canyon. Continue to Cruz del Condor, where the Colca river is 1,200 m below, to see the condor, the giant bird with a wing span up to 3.2 meters, that lives in this region. At this point there is a spectacular view of the canyon. Overnight at hostal close to the canyon.

Day 3 (Arequipa):
- Return to Arequipa and transfer to hotel.

Day 4 (Arequipa - Cuzco)/Andes:
- Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Cuzco to continue your adventure.
- Arrival and welcome at the airport in Cuzco, transfer to your hotel.
- Brief rest this morning to adjust to the altitude.
- Afternoon tour of the colonial city of Cuzco, capital of the Inca Empire. Visit the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, which is in practice a synthesis of the Inca organization, arquitecture and religion; the Plaza de Armas and its Cathedral. Continue driving to the surroundings ruins: fortress of Sacsayhuaman, temple of Kenko, fortress watch-tower of Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay, known as the Inca’s Baths.

Day 5 (Cuzco - Sacred Valley - Cuzco):
- After early breakfast at hotel, departure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas to visit the ruins of Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and Chincheros. The friendly village of Pisaq boasts a dynamic marketplace, and the ruins include one of the largest known cemeteries from the Empire.

Day 6 (Cuzco - Machu Picchu - Cuzco):
- After breakfast at hotel, early departure (5:30 a.m.) for a breathtaking four-hour train journey to Aguas Calientes. Then, transfer by bus to the top of the mountain to explore the fascinating ruins of Machu Picchu. "Lost City of the Incas" (As an option, you may overnight in this area)

Day 7 (Cuzco - Puerto Maldonado)/Amazon:
- Transfer to the airport to board your flight to the rainforest to continue your adventure.
- Arrival and reception, transfer to the river port where we will board our boat for a one hour trip by motorized canoe to the lodge. During our voyage we may see bird species typical of the river or forest edge In the afternoon we will visit a 35 meter scaffolding tower that is 15 minutes walking from the lodge. The scaffolding tower is built so that you safely climb using the internal staircase with verandahs on each side, and rest in platforms present every 2 meters. From the top you not only get spectacular views of the river and the surrounding forest but also excellent opportunities to observe birds from the canopy including parrots, toucans and macaws.

Day 8 (Puerto Maldonado):
- After an early breakfast we depart to the lake shore. From here we take a long, easy canoe ride around it. We will look for giant river otters, turtles, hoatzin, and wading birds. We will return to the lodge's trails in time for a visit to a small parakeet clay lick. In the afternoon we will visit the community's ethnobotanical center. Return to the lodge. After dinner the will be an optional night walk to look for amphibians and insects

Day 9 (Puerto Maldonado):
- After an early breakfast, return to Puerto Maldonado foryour flight back to Lima.
