Our prices do not include travel insurance. We recommend travellers contacting their health, property and homeowners insurance providers to determine the extent of their coverage while traveling abroad.

Passports, Visas & Other Document
For most travellers from North America & Europe a visa is not required. Only a valid passport and a return ticket to a country outside Peru before the expiry of you tourist card is needed. However all travelers are required to have a tourist card, which is valid for up to 183 days. Most travelers will be given 60 or 90 days by the immigration official unless you ask for the full amount. This card will be given to you free of charge at land borders or on you flight.

You must retain your tourist card throughout your journey as it will be required along with you passport at your hotels, you must also hand it back to immigration on your departure from Peru.

We also advise you carry copies of you passports and tourist card at all time, leaving your original safely at you hotel.

It is also advisable to bring a student card for example ISIC if you have one. As you can often save money in places like museums, buses, hotels and hostels.
