Summary:

Chiclayo - This tour will take you to Sipan where the tomb of the lord was discovered . The Lord of Sipan ruled around 200 AD over the Moche culture, and his gold-laden tomb is considered to be the richest in the Americas. You will visit the Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum considered by many as one of the best museums in the world. Here you will see displayed the golden riches of the Lord of Sipan on display.
Also whilst in Chiclayo you will visit the 26 pre- Columbian pyramids of Tucume. Here we will see burial sites, textiles, Incan figurines and depictions of reed boats. This, together with goods from far-flung corners of the South America, proved that the ancient people of Tucume were experienced voyagers and traders
Trujillo - You'll stroll along the grand central plaza and the streets lined with colonial mansions. We'll then visit the royal palace complex of Chan Chan, built by the Chimu culture in pre-Inca times. This enormous complex, the largest in pre-Columbian America, is divided into nine separate citadels.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Chiclayo / Trujillo

Welcome at the airport and drop your baggage at our office in Chiclayo.
Tucume guided tour.
Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum guided tour (Closed Mondays).
Transfer by private car to Trujillo (Around XXX Hours) and transfer to you comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Trujillo

Morning Trujillo city tour, including the Casa del Mayorazgo, Casa Orbegozo, Casa de Emancipation, the La Merced Church and the colonial downtown and the plaza areas.
Chan Chan tour, here you will visit the nine citadels that make up the enormous ancient Chimu citadel.
Huanchaco seaside resort, here you will take lunch. You will have the chance to try the famous national Peruvian dish of cerviche.
